Hi! I’m Beck and I’m an author living in Perth, Australia.  I write female-driven thrillers.

My professional career began in journalism where I learned to be a disciplined writer and editor, all the while tinkering away at novels on the side. In 2016 I attended the Fiona McIntosh Commercial Fiction Masterclass which further improved my craft and regimented my writing process.

I’m an educator, working with primary-aged students and it’s great encouraging kids to read.

I love getting involved with the Australian writing community. I wrote book reviews for Planet Books and for four years I was the newsletter editor for the Children’s Book Council of Australia – WA Branch. I’ve attended two Fiona McIntosh Masterclass National Conferences and have joined debut WA author Holly Craig’s Write Club.

When I’m not writing you’ll find me reading, op-shopping, exploring outdoors or traveling.
