I was watching some cute nature videos recently and had an idea.

Jump on YouTube and look up mating dance videos. Birds are a good example because their movements are hilarious and their colours are vibrant, however, your choice. Don’t spend more than five minutes on this otherwise you’ll procrastinate! Set a timer if you need.

Write down a description of what you’re watching but switch the animals for humans or humanoid characters. The colours of feathers/fur can be transferred to clothing ideas.

This may be helpful for fantasy writing or even historical fiction if you can imagine a big ballroom scene with amazing costumes.
